Sayani Nag is General Manager, Group Data & Analytics Cell in Aditya Birla Group. In her current role, she is responsible for driving analytics initiatives across Fashion Retail (Madura, Pantaloons) and Pulp & Fibre (Grasim) manufacturing businesses of Aditya Birla Group. In this role, Sayani is responsible for managing the analytics roadmap across ML and AI in fashion and industrial IoT.
She has over 12 years of experience in analytics and has held leadership roles in data analytics organizations like Tata IQ, dunnhumby; across Retail (B&M and e-commerce) and Hospitality domains, and across functions of marketing, operations, supply chain, manufacturing and HR. In her earlier assignment as Senior Manager in Tata Group, she was responsible for setting up the data science team and laying the roadmap for their e-commerce business Tata CLIQ, along with introducing advanced analytics and machine learning into other retail and hospitality businesses.
Sayani had started her career in Analytics in Retail Banking. She has done her Post Graduation in Economics, specializing in Econometrics and Industrial Organization.
